Critical Thinking Exercises

Learn to Think!
Making it today in a globally-competitive marketplace requires sharp thinking
skills--being able to break a problem into its component parts, evaluating
challenges and opportunities, and providing solid solutions. Developing
and maintaining critical thinking skills is the key to success not only
in college, but in your chosen career. Organized on a chapter-by-chapter
basis, each Critical Thinking Tutorial introduces a specific critical
thinking skill, such as recognizing extraneous variables, spotting specific
fallacies in reasoning, and understanding the limitations of anecdotal
evidence. After a brief essay that explains the nature and importance
of the skill under study, engaging exercises challenge you to apply the
skill to adjustment-related issues. Choose a chapter to begin!
